About the Club: The club is situated at the western end of Pennington Flash, which is a 70 hectare lake near Leigh in Lancashire, within easy reach of the M6 and the A580 West Lancs road

How to get there:

Leigh & Lowton Sailing Club Green Lane (off Sandy Lane), Lowton, Greater Manchester, WA3 1QB

Main Route
M6 Junction 23 turn east along A580 towards Manchester. After 3 miles (at third set of traffic lights) turn left immediately before Texaco Filling Station - signposted to Lowton. After 1.5 miles turn left immediately after the Church Inn (on the left) into Sandy Lane. After ½ mile turn right into Green Lane and the entrance to the LLSC (if you go round a sharp left hand bend you have gone too far!)

Alternative route
M6 Junction 23, take A580 towards Manchester. Straight on at first roundabout. At next traffic lights turn left into Stone Cross Lane North. At roundabout turn right into Stone Cross Lane North (again!). Straight on at next traffic lights (Hare and Hounds Pub/Shops/Church) Drive about 1 mile past houses. Turn right into Byrom Lane Sharp right hand bend half a mile down lane. First left after bend into Green Lane Immediate left into Leigh and Lowton Sailing Club.

Food: Galley open from 9am.

Accommodation: Camping and accommodation available from 6pm on Friday and for Saturday night.
