The Southern Areas: A two day event, with two races Saturday, and three races Sunday.

Entry fee: £15 (£12 for entries received before 30th June)

About the Club:Margate Yacht Club is located on the South East Coast. Facilities include a heated clubhouse, dry lounge, licensed bar, snack bar and changing rooms (with showers). .

How to get there:

1. If you are coming from the North and East take Junction 2 off the M25 onto the A2. Then follow step 2.

If you are coming from the West take Junction 5 off the M25 onto the M26. Stay on the M26 until it merges with the M20. Come off at Junction 7 of the M20 onto the A249 and follow signs for the M2.

2. Stay on the A2/M2 until you reach the A299. Follow the A299 to the A28. You then stay on the A28 for approximatley 7 miles until you reach Margate Harbour. At the harbour turn left onto the Rendevouz, the boat park is 200 yards on the right.

Food / Entertainment: There will be a Hawaiian night on Saturday evening (so don’t forget your Bermuda shorts or your hula skirt). There will be plenty of food so bring your families along. Tickets will be £5 per person.

Please complete the relevant section of the entry form if you plan to attend the Hawaiian night so catering can be organised in advance.
