Draycote Water Sailing Club

Members of the Draycote Miracle Fleet look forward to welcoming sailing friends from all around the country to Draycote Water. We have plenty of water, and when it’s about, plenty of wind too!

The inlands is a two day event, with two races Saturday, and three races Sunday.

Three best races to count.

Entry fee: £25 per boat (£20 for Sunday only)

About the Club: 650 acres of water, just south of Rugby, and close to J17 of the M1.

How to get there:

NB: When travelling down the M45 from the M1, you need to go all the way to J1 (passing the water on your left), then take the last exit at the roundabout (B4429) back towards Dunchurch, before crossing back over the M45 and following signs to Draycote Water (see map below).

On arrival visiting boats should follow instructions to go to the special visitor landing shores, which are beyond the club house and the windsurfing shore. Here they will have plenty of space, and parking, provided the ground is not too wet. Please avoid skidding on the grass adjoining the slipway and roads.

Food / Entertainment:

The Club Wet Bar will be open for food, including breakfast, on both Saturday and Sunday. On Saturday night a meal will be available in the Club Bar.

There will be prizes for Gold , Silver and Bronze Fleets, and also Youth (under 18) and Junior (under 16) prizes.

Racing instructions will follow standard DWSC Open Sailing Instructions (latest copy). The course will be Olympic style.
